Essentials of Fundraising
This is the essential workshop for those new to fundraising, non-fundraisers planning or supervising fundraising and anyone else who wants to brush up their knowledge of fundraising for arts and culture.
Lasting one day, this workshop will teach you best practice in fundraising from individuals, companies and trusts including the 80:20 rule: the 7 steps for planning your fundraising; making your case for support; proposal writing; how to use volunteer leadership; fundraising research; and making the ask. You will learn from case studies from successful strategies and there will be an opportunity to sound out any issues, challenges and ideas you have with your own proposals.
John Godfrey has been a fundraiser for more than 15 years in arts and higher education and now consults, researches and writes about fundraising for the arts.
